Head into the middle section of the Library and grab the note from the floor. Head back into the Library and examine the torn book on the first table in the room to start a new quest. Head into the Library and clear it of demons, then on into the next room to do the same. Continue on and Wynne will open the way forward. Leave Morrigan behind, Wynne is by far the better option for any party. She is a healing mage and is pretty much indispensible, so make sure you agree to help her. Here you’ll meet Wynne again, who will offer to join your party. Head into the next room along to find two more footlockers, make sure to examine them. Enter the bedrooms on the right and examine the footlocker for a new quest. Once you’re ready, head through the nearby metal door. You can also buy a Backpack upgrade and a Remarkable Malachite gift from him. He also sells a Tome of Arcane Technique, which will allow you to unlock an extra Talent if you’re a mage. The chances of you being able to afford this, however, are pretty slim this early on. The Quartermaster in this area has some very good items in stock, in particular Andruil’s Blessing. When you arrive, speak with Greagoir and convince him to allow you to help. You have the chance to either Intimidate or Persuade him. Speak to the bartender and purchase the Wine gift from him. Don’t worry if you don’t have them yet, they can be found nearly everywhere.Įnter the tavern to the left of Kester and you’ll find a chest to unlock. Speak to the Liaison again to complete one of the quests. By this point you should easily have ten deep mushrooms in your inventory. You can pick up five new quests from the bag on the table right next to him. Behind him is the Mages’ Collective Liaison. To the left of where he was standing you’ll find Kester. Loot his body to receive the Guild Supplies he stole. He will most likely attack, so kill him and his thugs. Speak to him on behalf of the Blackstone Irregulars. Head down to the lake and off to the left – here you’ll meet Sammael the Deserter.
